Harmonic Workings Opens

Published October 22, 2026

Stillreach's Harmonic Workings is a working mine now: Mining 8 and a Cutter cut one or two Rune Fragments a success for 130 Mining experience, with a chance at an Intact Runestone and a RARE FIND line for the Uncut Sapphire.

A steep fractured rock face with shimmering violet and teal crystals set in it, a wooden mine headframe with a cable bucket and loaded ore carts on a short rail, and distant aurora-lit mesas — A current view from the playable build.

A small, pointed, triangular shard of dark grey stone with glowing violet and cyan crystalline seams — Rune Fragment

Harmonic Workings, at the end of The Survey Line on Stillreach, now works its rock face. With Mining 8 and a Cutter you can cut Rune Fragments from it, and nothing else is asked: no Mission and no Rune Fragment to start with. SeeMining & Refining for the numbers.

A success gives one or two Rune Fragments and 130 Mining experience, the same experience whichever you get. A miss gives nothing. A success can also turn up an Intact Runestone, worth 130 more experience once you keep it, or, once in about twenty successes, an Uncut Sapphire, worth 30 more. A Sapphire posts a RARE FIND line in General that names Harmonic Workings; a Runestone stays quiet.

Patch notes

Added

Rune Fragment Mining at Stillreach's Harmonic Workings: Mining 8, about 45 seconds an attempt, one or two Rune Fragments and 130 Mining experience on a success, nothing on a miss.
One find a success at most: an Intact Runestone, worth 130 more Mining experience once kept, or an Uncut Sapphire, worth 30 more, whose RARE FIND line names Harmonic Workings.
